The Country Coordinating Mechanism against HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria of the
Republic of Armenia (hereinafter CCM) was created according to the approval of the project
proposal on the HIV/AIDS prevention of the Global Fund to fight HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and
Malaria (hereinafter Global Fund) and to the decisions on the prevailing strategies of the
HIV/AIDS with the goal to perform the allocation and continuous surveillance of the financial
means of the Global Fund.
The current operational structure of the CCM was approved by the decision of the RA Prime
Minister N 347-A, dated 06 April, 2021, and the individual composition and CCM Bylaw by the corresponding order of the Minister of Health N1350-A, dated 20 April, 2021, according to which the CCM for the implementation of Global Fund programs consists of 26 members.
On 10 October, 2022, the individual composition of the CCM was changed by corresponding order of Minister of Health N 4738-A.
The main function of CCM Armenia is related to the entire process of implementation of programs financed by the Global Fund in the Republic of Armenia (submission of program applications, their approval, control, acceptance of reports, etc.), which is carried with maintenance of the main principles and goals of the CCM, which are transparency, involvement of CSO, cooperation, equal creating opportunities.
